DRAGONFLY

I know I have said it before:

Sewing is a way of painting! I use different color, material and thread. Patterned or plain, sheeny or matt. Each peace must find its "proper" place. I look for a place where the eye can rest and feel joy and harmony. When two picture elements are joined my goal is to achieve a balanced result. It is important that the colors meet, but it also important to create individuals. Right now I am leaving the cold color range, turning towards warmer colors. I miss the wonderful warmth of the climate and the people of Texas. In order to compensate my longing I light a fire in the fireplace and dream about traveling to a warmer country. Here in Sweden I am presently enjoying the brilliantly colorful palette of autumn, giving me inspiration for my next picture.
